Though astrology has many branches, but Palm Reading is considered to be one of the most important branches of Astrology. Palm Reading has been going on since the Stone Age & we can get some idea if we thoroughly follow the hands that were painted in the prehistoric caves. It is considered to be a very ancient art specifically in the east. The knowledge of Palm Reading was being made use as a clinical aid by Greek physicians like Hippocrates & Galen (AD 130 – 200). Early in the 19th Century the renowned physician of the king of Saxony Dr Carl Carus used to match palms to personality. Not only that even Julius Caesar also used to take the help of Palm Reading to judge his men. Though we can not make a definite comment about when exactly this subject emerged or rather who was the one single person to initiate this science but it is evident from our history that Palm Reading holds a very vital importance & has been going on since the evolution of mankind.
